Our Pastor
We are happy to introduce our Pastor. We are appreciate our leaders as God designed. God has set these people in leadership and given them a vision for The Ridge.
PASTOR JOHN MOSER

John grew up in Berne, Indiana, and attended Taylor University. He started his career out as a math teacher, but the Lord called him into ministry while attending Calvary Temple in Naperville, Illinois. Shortly after he began attending there, he met the love of his life, Eileen. They were married less than year after they met.
​
He obtained credentials with the Assemblies of God, and was the pastor of a church in Melrose Park, Illinois for nearly 15 years. John and Eileen were then led to Nebraska, where they pastored a Missionary Church in the town of Weeping Water.
He was called by the Ridge to be the pastor in October of 2017. In between his pastorates, he has taught high school in high-need areas, and been a Chicago Uber driver, logging over two thousand rides. Eileen has extensive training in prayer and deliverance ministry. She has remarkable ministry skills working with those in difficulties and pain.
The Mosers have been married for more than 30 years, and have nine children, eight of whom have left the nest and live literally coast to coast, from Massachusetts to California. The life verses that the Lord gave them as they entered marriage were Hebrews 12.1-2:

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
